about

Another 'lost' album from 2005. As with Sofa Drugs, Red Lion and Armchair Minimalism, this was recorded in the living room of our apartment in Burrells Wharf, on the Isle of Dogs next to the Thames. The building we lived in was once part of a shipyard - but when you open the doors as I did while recording, instead of heavy industry all you hear is a picture of urban domesticity with gardeners sweeping leaves and children playing to the soundtrack of aircraft flying overhead en route to Heathrow.

A set of meandering hymns for the ghosts of the old shipyard, these recordings have not been released in any format until now.
