about

Following my smash hit 7", Magpie Attack On The Back Road To Albert Town, the guys at Dirty Knobby felt I deserved a follow up single. This is it.

Continuing on from Magpie, this also uses less standard instruments from my collection of broken bits and pieces, with the main noise sourced from a cheap bulbul tarang (Indian 'banjo') wired up with a contact microphone.

The original mix of this session is about 16 minutes in length, which is a struggle to fit on a 7" record, so I took to it with the scissors and then added a second recording of a contact microphone/laptop piece as an ambient coda.
